Custom Work

Interested in getting something designed just for you? I typically take on a handful of custom projects each month. Please read through the information below before completing my booking inquiry form.

I am always interested in the following subject matter, but open to ideas outside of this list as well:

• plants, animals, insects

• nature scenes, landscapes, geological formations

• sentimental object, belonging or trinket

• imagery/symbols to commemorate a place on earth that is special to you

My custom process is designed to bring your idea to life in my style. I encourage you to look at my flash designs and previous tattoos I’ve done to get an idea for my design aesthetic. I do not tattoo designs created by other artists (but I’m very open to tattooing a design created by you or someone you know!). I strongly prefer that you describe your idea to me (or even make a crude sketch if you feel inclined) than to send me a drawing/tattoo done by another artist to reference.

Inquiries will be answered via email typically within 7 days. Once approved, custom bookings require a $100 nonrefundable deposit. Some or all of this amount will go toward the development of your design, depending on the complexity of the design and/or time spent making revisions (any remainder will be applied to tattooing time). Most custom tattoos will cost an additional $200-$450 at your appointment, depending on the final size, placement, and level of complexity. You will receive a price range estimate via email at the time your request is approved.

At this time, my process involves sending your design a couple days in advance of your appointment, to allow time for you to process/visualize the design and to request edits if desired.
